I have been photographing eagles since I got my first camera near 40 years ago with old-style, light sensitive film that I had to send into a mail in photo developing company. My camera was simple and taking photos of eagles was very disappointing because many of my early photos, when they were sent back to me, if they actually turned out at all, needed to draw a tiny circle around the tiny dot in a tree to remind myself that I didn't just take a random photo of a forest but was taking a photo of these majestic birds. As my cameras got better over the years, my eagle dots got bigger and bigger and infinitely more satisfying. Now, my camera often is too close to get the whole eagle in the frame, and I can take endless photos and don't have to wait to see if they are good photos or not. I love eagles.
