Welcome, dear one,

I’m L.M. (Lilly) Christenson, a mythic storyteller, artist, and keeper of ancestral threads.

My creative world is shaped by the landscapes that raised me: the forests and waters of the Pacific Northwest, the wild foothills of Colorado, and the ancient memory of my Scottish Highland lineage.

I create stories, art, photography, and seasonal touchstones that help us return to the old paths, the quiet ones, the mythic ones, the ones that remind us who we are.

Solas Beatha means Light of Life in Scots Gaelic. It is the hearthfire of my work, a sanctuary of story, nature, and gentle creative rhythms.

Within this world, the tales are carried by Grandma Mae, the mythic grandmother of Solas Beatha, a warm and timeless storyteller who keeps the old stories alive.

She is the voice that guides listeners through myths, faerietales, and the ancestral landscapes woven into my novels and art.

ABOUT LILLY:

I am a mythic storyteller whose creative identity is shaped by the ancient pattern‑thinking of my ancestors, a way of seeing shaped by the Celtic Highlands, the Norse sagas, the Scottish Isles, and the intuitive traditions of pre‑modern cultures.

My mind works in constellations, weaving intuition, symbol, emotion, and logic into a single tapestry. I do not write in straight lines. I write in mythic spirals, where every story echoes another and every world touches the next.

I am the author of Beyond Trivar, the first novel in my interconnected legendarium, and the creator of Solas Beatha, a mythic storytelling world where nature, ancestry, and imagination meet.

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and live in Colorado, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and forests that echo the landscapes of my ancestral homelands.
