I wrote Beyond Trivar during a season of deep transition. It’s a high fantasy novel full of adventure, romance, dragons, pirates, and the classic battle between light and darkness. But at its heart, it’s about a woman named Jaden, stolen as a child, sold into slavery, and forced to fight her way back to the light, both within and beyond her world.
