They restore my childlike wonder, help me slow down, and invite me to dream again, especially when life feels upside down or inside out. This journey has been woven with faerie wisdom, nature’s quiet beauty, and the joy of crafting healthful teas, soothing salves, and deliciously fragrant soaps. Each creation is a whisper from the wild, a balm for the soul. Over the years, I’ve been blessed by the support of dear friends, beloved family, and kindred spirits who’ve walked this path with me. Welcome to Solas Beatha (BYAH-ha), Scots Gaelic for Light of Life, a sanctuary created by me, a Hippee by day and a faerie by night 😉

For over twenty years, I’ve created under the name L.M. Christenson; author, artist, and maker of Colorado Hippee spa offerings. That name still lives in my books and stories.

But now, I return as simply Christy.

Solas Beatha now holds all I’ve created, and all I will create, under one roof. It’s a place where storytelling, healing, and seasonal soul connection come together. I’m steering this ship with joy, continuing to write, paint, and offer the soul-nourishing goods you’ve come to love.
